At the end of 2024, the Noah family is growing again. Yannick Noah became a father for the sixth time last October, and now he is a grandfather for the third time. Indeed, his son Joakim Noah discreetly announced the birth of his second baby on November 29, 2024, during the American Thanksgiving holiday.
Joakim Noah: A happy event shared on Instagram
It is on his Instagram account that the thirty-year-old, former star player of the Chicago Bulls, chose to share the good news. In the caption of a photo where we see the 2m10 basketball player all smiles alongside his partner Lais Ribeiro. Holding their infant in his arms, Joakim Noah simply wrote:
“Lots to be thankful for! Happy Thanksgiving”.
For her part, the Brazilian model published in her story a touching image of her companion rocking their baby by a swimming pool. If the announcement remains subtle, it still caused a stir, garnering more than 23,000 “likes” and 400 congratulatory comments, including that of Jenaye Noah, Joakim's little sister.
The Noah family, a happy blended tribe
This birth therefore enlarges the already well-stocked tribe of Yannick Noah. At 64, the former tennis player and singer is the proud father of six children, born from his love affairs with four different women.
He first had Joakim (1985) and Yéléna (1987) with Cécilia Rodhe, former Miss Sweden. Then came Eleejah (1996) and Jenaye (1997), fruits of his relationship with British model Heather Stewart-Whyte. In 2004, he welcomed Joalukas with producer Isabelle Camus. And very recently in October 2024, he became the father of a little girl, born from his relationship with a certain Malika, 32 years his junior.
