Every year, the Montier-en-Der International Festival of Wildlife and Nature Photography brings together photographers, enthusiasts and curious people around the beauty of the natural world. For this 27th edition, Phototrend offers you a unique video immersion.
The festival honors renowned photographers, such asAlexis Rosenfeldphoto sponsor of the event, Sandra Bartocha, Florian Ledoux et Guillaume Bily. Their works, exhibited in particular at COSEC or at the Halle au Grains, reveal the richness and fragility of naturecaptured through their lenses.
Among the highlights of this edition, we attended the raising common cranes on the outskirts of Lac du Der, a moment as poetic as ever, although very random. Moreover, this year the snow has invited itself to offer a beautiful white setting to visitors who have braved the cold.
We also explored the Village des Marquesa true paradise for amateur and professional photographers wishing test the latest new productsboth in terms of telephoto lenses and bodies. This year, the Sony A1 II, Canon EOS R1 and Nikon Z50 II were in the spotlight, Montier being the first show where the public could discover them.
For our part, we have tested several long focal lengthsincluding the Canon RF 100-300mm f/2.8 L IS USM and the Sigma 500mm f/5.6 DG DN OS Sports. We’ll be releasing more tips in the coming days.
