At 14, Cher had a simple love affair with a local boy. A boy who, as she says in Cher: The Autobiography, Part Iwas very attentive when they were alone, but radically changed his behavior in the presence of his friends.
“He treated me like an embarrassing kid whenever his friends were around,” reveals the star in his book, extracts of which were published by People.
And one day, while this boy's gang was planning an outing to a restaurant, his friends asked the boy, not without mockery, if he was going to bring “the kid” with him. A humiliation that young Cherilyn Sarkisian frankly did not like.
Not a very memorable first time
“I was so hurt when he did that that I slept with him out of revenge. I never wanted it before. Otherwise I would have done it one of the five hundred other times he asked me,” continues the interpreter of Believe.
An experience which turned out to be very disappointing and at the end of which Cher did not fail to send the boy home with loss and chaos, never to see him again. “I wanted to make him feel the same rejection that he had made me feel,” she concludes.
So, to succeed your first time, it’s better to think carefully beforehand.
