Bruce Willis' Daughters Share Rare Photos With Their Dad on Thanksgiving

The girls of Bruce Willis took advantage of Thanksgiving to express their gratitude to their father. Thursday November 28, Tallulah et Scout LaRue shared two photos with the actor, presumably taken during the Willis family reunion, on this celebratory holiday in the United States.

The 69-year-old actor, sitting on a sofa and smiling, holds in his hands a plaque on which is written “the best dad in the world”. Scout LaRue, 33, and Tallulah, 30, are seated beside him, each with a hand affectionately placed on their father. “Grateful,” Tallulah captioned her Instagram post. Their older sister, Rumer, 36, was not at their side. All three were born from the marriage of Bruce Willis to Demi Moore. The actor is also the father of Mabel et Evelyn12 and 10 years old, which he shares with his wife Emma Hemming.

The Willis clan usually gets together for Thanksgiving. Last year, the actor's five daughters, his wife and Demi Moore, all gathered around the former actor. “I am grateful to know this kind of love,” his wife wrote.

Suffering from an incurable illness

In March 2022, the family of Bruce Willis announced the end of his acting career following a diagnosis of aphasia. A few months later, his loved ones shared that he suffered from frontotemporal dementia, a neurodegenerative disease related to Alzheimer's disease, impacting memory, and the ability to speak or move. Since then, his family has regularly given his news, through family photos or interviews.

A very supportive blended family

“This disease is misdiagnosed, it goes unnoticed, it is poorly understood. So it was essential to get a diagnosis so that I could learn about frontotemporal dementia and so that I could educate our children,” Emma Hemming Willis told Town & Countrylast October, “I never tried to sugarcoat anything for them. They grew up with Bruce declining over the years. I'm not trying to protect them. »

“Grateful” to be well surrounded, Emma Hemming Willis, a 46-year-old model who decided to write a book about her husband's illness, confided: “The family respects the way I take care of him; they really support me. If I need to vent, cry, get angry – because all of that can happen and it's normal to have those feelings – they are always there to listen. »And added: “They support me, love me and help me a lot, which is not the case for many people. »
