After being released from house arrest in August 2023, Andrew Tate is now authorized by the Romanian courts to travel within the European Union (EU). No travel outside the EU

In a statement quoted by AFP, the Bucharest court specified that Andrew Tate will not be able to leave “the territorial limit of the EU, except with prior agreement” of Romanian justice. “After 3 years, I am free to travel and I could spend tonight in my garden at home dancing with Tristan”Andrew Tate reacted this Friday, July 5, in a tweet accompanied by a video of him and his brother dancing. The 37-year-old influencer and his brother Tristan Tate were arrested at the end of 2022 in Bucharest, before being detained for three months and then released.

Since then, they have been awaiting trial, with no trial date yet announced. The two brothers are suspected of having trapped women and forced them to act in pornographic films. Andrew Tate is also accused of two rapes. Although he was banned from TikTok and Instagram for his violent and misogynistic comments, the young man still has 9.5 million subscribers on X.
