This Wednesday, November 13, the screenwriter Anne
Richard was invited to the set of Jordan De Luxe. The opportunity for her to talk about her childhood, her parents, but also her love story with Fabien Lecoeuvre. As the interview progressed, Anne Richard also took the time to talk about her addiction to running.
“I didn’t think you could be so addicted to sport,” said Jordan de Luxe. “Ah good ? That's because you don't do it (…). Otherwise you would know what it is.”she presented. If the presenter admitted not to do much sporting activity, Anne Richard practiced more than an hour of running per day. A passion that began to become “a real problem”as Jordan De Luxe reminds us.
Anne Richard talks about her addiction to sport
“Yes, but it’s a problem that many people experience, but who are not entirely aware that they are completely addicted. It’s especially running that creates this. If you ask people who run or jog, they always want to go back, they always want to go, they almost need to go all the time. the days…”says the 56-year-old actress.
She adds: “It's true that for me, it had really become an addiction. I had to go there. I thought and organized my day in relation to that. So, it's also because I made a film about running, where I trained a lot, and once I finished, I realized that I was addictedthat I absolutely had to continue.”
Anne Richard: “I took things to…”
Unfortunately, this extreme and intense relationship with sport caused him health problems, particularly with his knee.
“Eventually, it was my body that started to say
'listen, now he's tired of it, you run too much'.
I had to stop. I started to hear the pain in my body and realize that I was taking ibuprofen, I was taking things to hide the pain.”she admits.
“And then I said to myself: 'but you are completely crazy, my poor girl' (…). That's when I realized that I was completely addicted to the point of take things to not feel the pain“concludes Anne Richard. If today she continues to practice sport, she does so “sparingly”. She also gave up running to devote herself to swimming.
