Thirty regional misses facing a jury composed exclusively of women. On Saturday December 14, live from the Futuroscope Arena in Chasseneuil-du-Poitou (Vienna) and on TF1, the evening of the election of the new Miss France presented as usual by the inexhaustible Jean-Pierre Foucault will make more than ever honor to women. The official Instagram account of the Miss France committee has just revealed the names.
Around Sylvie Vartan, president, and Marie-José Pérec, triple Olympic champion and torch bearer of the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, there will be five of them to decide on the name of the one who will succeed Ève Gilles ( Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais), Miss France 2024. This 95th election is called “The Grand Bal des Miss”.
Seven women for one crown
Comedian, actress and director Nawell Madani; the former Miss France 2014 Flora Coquerel; dancer, actress and choreographer Khatia Buniatishvili; stylist and TV presenter Cristina Córdula; and the dancer model Fauve Hautot will thus have in their hands the fate of one of the thirty candidates vying this year for the coveted crown and sash. As tradition dictates, the vote of this jury will count for 50% of the final decision, shared equally with that of the public who will be called to vote live.
For the second successive year, the Miss France jury will therefore be exclusively female. In 2023, it was chaired by Sylvie Tellier, former general director of the Miss France company, and brought together Adriana Karembeu, Nolwenn Leroy, Stefie Cela, Nina Métayer, Estelle Mossely and Élodie Poux. In 2022, diversity was more appropriate with, around the actor Francis Huster, president, Arnaud Ducret, Kendji Girac, Dominique Besnehard, as well as Camille Lellouche, Clarisse Agbegnenou and Marinne Ltemporel.
