NewJeans has made public ADOR's response to its content certification.
On November 28 at a press conference, the NewJeans announced that their contract with ADOR would be terminated at midnight on November 29, after the expiration of the 14-day deadline for corrective action specified in a content certification sent to the 'agency.

Following this, ADOR issued a statement to express that the contracts had been respected on their side, and that the members did not have the right to leave the agency in this way.

On November 29, a NewJeans representative published ADOR's full response to the content certification sent by NewJeans on November 13.
This document, consisting of 26 pages, contains ADOR's responses to NewJeans' requests.
Among NewJeans' requests, we could find:
– Identify and take action against the person who decided and gave the order to abandon NewJeans.
– An official apology from the BELIFT LAB manager who made remarks involving Hanni, saying: 'Ignore her.'
– Actions regarding inappropriate remarks made by a HYBE staff member.
– Removal of NewJeans videos and photos used without consent.
– Evaluate and treat the damage suffered by NewJeans due to HYBE’s sales manipulation of its artists.
– Resolved the conflict with Director Shin Woo Seok of Dolphiners Films and the issue of existing projects disappearing.
– Preserve the identity and unique works of NewJeans.
– Reintegration of the former PDG Min Hee Jin.
In 26 pages, ADOR responded to each of NewJeans' requests, with varied explanations, which can be summarized as follows:
– The statement mentioning “abandoning NewJeans” was intended to suggest that SSERAFIM should establish its own unique kingdom rather than being lumped in with NewJeans and IVE, not abandoning NewJeans.
– ADOR requested a meeting with the manager accused of saying 'Ignore her', but BELIFT LAB refused.
– ADOR asked the operational director of HYBE to verify the facts and prevent the public relations staff member's remarks from happening again.
– ADOR is doing its best to resolve the issue of unauthorized photos and videos, although it is not the one who distributed them.
– There was no manipulation of album sales.
– The only video that ADOR raised an issue with Director Shin Woo Seok for was the “ETA Director’s Cut”. ADOR supported the reappointment of Min Hee Jin as internal director in order to preserve the identity of NewJeans and guarantee its activities.
– The reinstatement of Min Hee Jin as CEO is currently not an option.
– Additionally, ADOR expressed its commitment to taking the best possible steps to respond to NewJeans' requests and its hope to begin a dialogue. However, NewJeans rejected ADOR's response as “disingenuous and performative” and stated that they had no plans to meet with ADOR in the future to discuss.
