Exclu. Catherine Davydzenka : “Even at school, with my teachers, things went very badly”

Among the misunderstandings that the actress had to face, there was one that particularly hurt her: “I was never aware of my seductive potential, even todayshe confides. Which got me into a lot of trouble, because apparently others noticed it for me. Even at school, with my teachers, things went very badly. At the age of 12 or 13, I was summoned by teachers who told me that I had to dress differently, that I was not allowed to wear skirts or tank tops, that it was exciting. the boys and that they were distracted by my presence. And I didn’t understand why, because I didn’t even know the concept of desire at the time!”. And Catherine Davydzenka continues: “They told me that, even for me, I didn't realize it! That I was going to get attacked in the street, even though I didn't even know what that meant.”.

Catherine Davydzenka: “Sometimes the vision of others is hard to bear…”

Over the years, Catherine Davydzenka has been able to protect herself from the comments of disgruntled people, favoring her freedom of being and thinking. Or almost…: “Most of the time I don't careshe concedes. Except when it generates injustices that are still incomprehensible to me. For me, the notion of beauty is subjective. But sometimes the vision of others is hard to bear, especially when you don't have the same vision as them! When I was younger, I had a lot of difficulty detaching myself from the image that people wanted to stick to me, this kind of figure of femininity that didn't correspond to me at all. But that was a long time ago!”she wants to emphasize.
