After participating in an expedition on the theme of preserving the seabed with Leonardo DiCaprio, in the Solomon Islands, Prince Albert II sailed up the Pacific towards Singapore. Singapore is a city-state that consists of several islands. The main island, Pulau Ujong, is located under the mainland of Malaysia.

Singapore is a republic of 719 square kilometers. Monaco is a principality of 2 square kilometers. Both countries have a high population density in common. With more than 39,000 inhabitants, Monaco has a density of more than 19,000 inhabitants per square kilometer.
