“It’s one of the last caring shows”: Liane Foly is a real TV kid
A few minutes before recording, Laurence Boccolini, far from being stressed by the grandeur of the event, welcomes us into his dressing room to discuss the evening to come. Further down in a large box, the evening's guests spend their last moments, in a schoolboy atmosphere, away from the cameras. “We invited personalities from several eras of Children of TV who have a strong connection with the show“, explains Nicolas Missoffe. Élie Semoun and Michèle Bernier, present from the premiere in 1994, but also Hélène Ségara, Bruno Solo, Booder, Jeanfi Jeanssens and Liane Foly are there. “It’s always a great pleasure to come. This is one of the last benevolent broadcasts of the PAF“, the latter tells us, always happy to see archive images again. During the evening, the host of the show will surprise her with an old show filmed with Bernard Montiel. “I think it pleases everyone to remember cult images“, comments the producer.
Children of TV: many leading television personalities will appear on the occasion of this anniversary on France 2
On the set, if the good-natured atmosphere reigns, there is excitement behind the scenes. The surprise arrivals of Thierry Ardisson, Pascal Bataille, Laurent Fontaine and Denise Fabre, as well as the reconstructions of cult television shows such as Only the truth counts, The Weak Link or Draw, it's won, come together. “In addition to offering the top 30 most iconic images on television and the guests' pans, the goal was also to highlight the showss and those who made them“, continues the producer. Amazed by the presence of Denise Fabre, Liane Foly admits that she considers her one of the first great women of French television. The noted absences of Laurent Ruquier and Arthur, emblematic former hosts of the programwill not cast any veil over this beautiful celebration. “We were delighted with how this evening turned out. People seemed to have enjoyed it and all the guests left extremely satisfied and happy with the recording“, concludes Nicolas Missofe.
