Brad Pitt on cold feet with his children
The last time they were seen together publicly was in 2014, at the film's premiere Unbroken. Brad Pitt then posed with his parents as well as Shiloh, Pax and Maddox. The family appeared all smiles in front of the photographers.
But that was long before the tragic episode of the private jet, in 2016, where “Brad allegedly tried to choke one of the children and hit another in the face,” as we can read in the book Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, the secrets of the divorce of the centurypublished in 2023 by Hachette editions. Grandparents no longer have contact
According to the Daily MailBrad Pitt's parents also suffered from the couple's separation. “They haven't been able to see their beloved grandchildren for about eight years, due to the divorce and ongoing legal battle between Brad and Angelina,” an anonymous source told the outlet. “Before the separation, they were part of the children's lives and they spent a lot of time together,” she continues.
If Jane and William Pitt have in the past (and until 2014) often been photographed with the family, today they would be “devastated”, estimates the source of the Daily Mail. Before concluding: “They are in their eighties. To imagine that they will never be able to spend time with the children again is simply unthinkable.”
