Danhausen's AEW situation in question

Danhausen is under contract with AEW until summer 2025.

What about Danhausen’s situation in AEW? Absent from the screens in 2024, the wrestler is nevertheless still under contract.

The case of Dahnausen raises questions. Injured in the spring of 2023, the wrestler made his return at the end of the same year, but only made three matches for AEW and has not appeared on screens since Worlds End 2023. Note only one match on a Ring of Honor show in February 2024. Since then, nothing. Not a single match for AEW in 2024.

If we are to believe Fightful, which recently took an interest in Danahausen's case, the wrestler is still under contract with AEW until the summer of 2025 – a three-year contract signed in 2022. The site d The report adds that the wrestler and AEW have not been in contact for approximately six months, outside of requests for approval for dates on the independent circuit.

We also learn that Danhausen would have expressed his frustration directly to Tony Khan around his return in 2023. A return that he would have liked, but storyline plans that would have led nowhere, reports Fightful.

AEW reportedly suggested that Danhausen wanted to prioritize his appearances on the independent circuit, while the wrestler's camp cited family issues that would have limited his availability. Danhausen has, this year, made around fifty matches in several independent promotions, including GCW primarily and even OTT.
