After announcing her second pregnancy last October, Jennifer Lawrence attended the premiere of the documentary “Bread & Roses” in Los Angeles, discreetly revealing her rounded belly.
Pregnant with her second child with her husband Cooke Maroney, actress Jennifer Lawrence revealed her baby bump – visible despite a long, loose black dress by Christian Lacroix – on the occasion of the premiere of the documentary devoted to Afghan women, “Bread & Roses,” which was held in Los Angeles on November 15.
The Hunger Games star, 34, co-produced this documentary by director Sarah Mani, which testifies to the tragic living conditions of Afghan women since the return to power of the Taliban in 2021.
She was notably accompanied by the Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai, Nobel Peace Prize winner, in 2014.
“When Kabul fell in 2021, all women lost their most basic rights. They lost the rights to be educated and to work. (…) Their lives were completely turned upside down overnight,” said Jennifer Lawrence on the red carpet in a video relayed by Paris Match Belgium.
“I hope we remember to turn towards each other and not away from each other,” continued the committed star.
“Bread & Roses” is expected on Apple TV+ on November 22.
