The American artist continues her rise in the world of cinema by landing a role in the new season of Wednesday. Currently filming, the series should be broadcast on the platform in 2025.
A new member of the Adams family? After A Star is Born and more recently Joker: Folie à Deux alongside Joaquin Phoenix, 2025 could be another year in front of the camera for Lady Gaga. The singer – known to the general public around fifteen years ago with her title Poker Face – increasingly develops her acting talents.
She should therefore be part of the cast of the second season of the series Wednesday broadcast on Netflix, as specified by the American magazine Variety. Neither Netflix nor Lady Gaga, however, wished to confirm this information despite requests from the magazine. Currently filming in Ireland, the second season should feature the artist in his own role.

Lady Gaga, series actress?
This appearance would occur for a specific reason. Lady Gaga had posted on social networks a video of her performing the famous Wednesday choreography, performed by the star of the series Jenna Ortega during episode 4. This performance, performed to the title Bloody Mary by Lady Gaga, created a buzz on TikTok.
And although this news delights fans of the series, as well as those of the artist, it marks a turning point for Lady Gaga. After beginning her acting career starring alongside Bradley Cooper in A Star is borna role for which she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress, she landed a major role in House of Gucci in 2021 and more recently for Joker: Folie à Deux with Joaquin Phoenix. If until now she developed her acting career more in films – apart from her appearance in several seasons of American Horror Story -, she is now trying her hand more widely in series.
