Émilien, undisputed master of 12 shots of noonhas reigned over the show for 413 days with impressive serenity. During an interview for Tele-Leisurethe young prodigy revealed one of the most important challenges he faces on a daily basis.
Since September 2023, Émilien, a student from Toulouse, has been shining in The 12 strokes of noon on TF1. Endowed with great culture and a certain talent for reasoning, he continues to impress viewers. Fabienne, Emilien's mother, spoke via video about her son's curiosity, already evident from the age of 3 or 4, and shared how his success has transformed their daily lives. Faced with the stress of challenges, particularly during the “Fatal Coup” test, Émilien uses a simple but effective technique: controlling his breathing to calm his heart rate and maintain his concentration. During the November 13 show, Émilien made another astonishing revelation. He admitted to developing rituals before each show, such as touching his sleeves, his microphone or his glasses, although he was not originally superstitious.
Emilien (The 12 strokes of noon) : “I rest as much as possible”
Greatest champion in the history of 12 shots of noon and game shows in France, Émilien is experiencing a truly extraordinary adventure. With 413 wins and 14 Mystery Stars discovered, he has accumulated an impressive prize pool of €1,669,651 in winnings and gifts to date. Far from his family in Vendée and his partner Jessica, who cannot accompany him on each shoot, Émilien admitted to Télé-Loisirs that the intense pace of the show is sometimes difficult to bear. “I think one of the biggest difficulties is fatigue”he confided. Despite everything, he manages to manage his busy schedule, namely between four and five show shoots in one day: “I rest as much as possible, whenever I have a few minutes, I try to rest.”
Émilien gives the secret of his longevity in The 12 strokes of noon
Before beginning his meteoric rise in The 12 strokes of noonÉmilien did not have a goal in mind at the start. The young 21-year-old student approaches each show as a unique and fun experience. He has often expressed his “carpe diem” approach, focusing solely on the idea of do your best to stay in the game presented by Jean-Luc Reichmann. “I've never had a particular goal. My only goal is to still be there at the end of the show and to come back the next day. This is already quite an ambitious goal.“he explained. A pragmatic and detached vision which could well be the key to his longevity on the show.
