Last week,
Prince William was in South Africa for the presentation of the prix Earthshot. The Crown Prince spent 4 days in Cape Town before returning to the United Kingdom to attend the Remembrance weekend. It was a solo trip, without Kate Middletonduring which the royal gave several interesting interviews.
The son of
roi Charles III was more open about his family life. He would also have shown less reserve, according to a royal expert. The 42-year-old prince notably spoke about the state of his wife, Princess Kate. He claimed that she had been amazing while emphasizing the fact that this year was “probably its
hardest year“. The Prince of Wales also spoke about the friendship bracelet made by his daughter, the Princess Charlotte.

Prince William: a major positive change!
During an interview with Royal Show of Sunthe royal correspondent Sarah Hewson spoke about the change in Prince William. “We see William in the most relaxed state that we have seen all year“, she said. “He talked about the children, he talked about Catherine, he seemed a lot more at peace after an extremely difficult year“, she added.
According to the royal expert, this new side of Prince William appeared after the announcement of the end of chemo treatment by Kate Middleton, last September. His solo trip encouraged him to be more open about his private life.
William and Kate: their next family engagement!
During this interview, Sarah Hewson highlighted the fact that the Prince of Wales was now more willing to talk about family. On his last day in South Africa, Prince William said: “I love Cape Town, I had an amazing week here, I really enjoyed it. I don't want to go! My children would love to be here, Catherine too“.
Note that Kate Middleton did not make the trip to take care of her children, George, Charlotte and Louis. Besides, Wales' family is not expected to attend public engagements together until December 6. The Princess of Wales' Christmas concert is scheduled for this date at Westminster Abbey.
