ON VIDEO – While the Louis Vuitton fashion show kicked off Men’s Fashion Week on June 18, Omar Sy attended the show imagined by Pharell Williams with his family.

This Tuesday, June 18, marked the start of Men’s Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2025. It was the Louis Vuitton house which opened the festivities for this edition, with a fashion show at the Palais de l’Unesco in Paris. Unsurprisingly, an audience of VIPs and celebrities was present, including actor and producer Michael Fassbender, actress and singer Sabrina Carpenter, basketball player and new darling of the NBA Victor Wembanyma and Omar Sy, among others.

The star of the series Lupin did not attend the show imagined by Pharell Williams alone. It was in fact accompanied by his wife, Hélène Sy and two of their children, Sabah (21 years old) and Tidiane (18 years old), that he set foot on the lawn of the headquarters of the United Nations for education, science and culture. A couple for 26 years, married for 17 years, Omar and Hélène Sy are also the happy parents of Selly, born in 2001, Alhadji, born in 2009 and Amani-Nour, born in 2017.

“I saw my daughter Sabah suddenly open up”

A large family settled across the Atlantic, in Los Angeles, since 2012. In Come on, let’s talk, his biography published on April 24, the actor explains this choice of life. “I wanted to do a kind of reset total, a sort of reset to put everything back in order. I didn’t know at that time that my children were going to become Americans. The plan was to leave for the Awards campaign (for Untouchables, Editor’s note) which lasts four or five months.

Ultimately, this American experience, intended to be temporary, became permanent. “I saw my daughter Sabah suddenly open up,” he confided to Elsa Vigoureux, the author of the work. And to continue: “In a sigh, I became again the anonymous father who could go peacefully to the school fair, or accompany a school trip. I said to myself, this is where my family should live. Sheltered. Miles from France, of course. But in a life that completely belongs to them.
