Due to a sports offer, TF1 advanced the premium of the Star Academy to Friday November 8, 2024. During it, six of the seven academics still in competition at the Château de Damarrie-les-Lys offered a medley of Beyoncé's hits.
While Maureen was on the bench of nominees, Julie, Ebony, Marine, Maïa, Marguerite and Emma put on the show by covering two hits by the American star. The faculty gave them the mission of performing on Halo et Single Ladies. Via
“It was a fair…” : Marlène Schaff loses her temper against students of the Star Academy 2024
On Sunday, November 10, Marlène Schaff, who was promoted to replace Cécile Chaduteau, gave a strong opinion on the performance of her students. And the least we can say is that she did not mince her words. “Frankly, it was a fair. This is not acceptable for me what you girls did. You two were so not together…”lamented the stage expression teacher who was accompanied by Julien Doré for her debriefing before asserting: “I don't understand how such a performance is possible with the level that you all have…”.
While Maïa assured that the students had trained well for this Beyoncé medley, Emma wanted to emphasize that they had sung “in original tone”. A remark which made Marlène Schaff jump even more. “There was no solidarity between you! This is what I deplore (…) You are stepping on each other, you have not pulled yourself up. It's not just I put my hand there and I sing my song. Live the thing! There is no excuse there! There's no I have heels, I have things or stuff…”cried the woman who was the victim of a terrible accident.
Julien Doré intervenes and comforts the students
Julien Doré intervened to defend the six students. “You put me there, it’s not just the hand that doesn’t follow. I’m lost. But don't keep that in mind too much. I remember that seventeen years ago there were colleges, we were together on songs that I had difficulty with. It's super difficult, plus it's on a Beyoncé medley so it doesn't matter.”he set about comforting Julie, Ebony, Marine, Maïa, Marguerite and Emma.
