On February 10, 2023, their lives changed. While Yuksel Yakut is driving on departmental road 372, near Villiers-en-Bière (Seine-et-Marne), with on board his sister-in-law, Mila, six and a half months pregnant, and her son, Devrim, aged 6, he was hit head-on by another car. In front of him is Pierre Palmade. The actor, who drove under the influence of drugs, according to toxicological analyzes carried out after the accident, will be arrested by the police and placed in police custody. But for the three victims of this dramatic accident, the injuries are numerous and serious. Mila will then lose her baby. Yuksel, for his part, will be plunged into a coma and operated on multiple times. Devrim, his son, will suffer a shock to the head. His jaw will be fractured, preventing him from eating properly for many months. And even now, the scars of this accident are present.
Questioned in the show Sept à Huit, broadcast on TF1, on Sunday November 10, 2024, Yuksel Yakut returned to the after-effects from which Devrim is suffering: “My son is not doing well at all. He no longer wants to go outside because of the scars that he has in his head, he is in constant pain”, reveals this father, moved to tears. Devrim “can no longer stand the sun or the cold” and he has “plaques in his mouth” which make eating very difficult. “When he eats, his jaws get tired very quickly.” In addition to the physical after-effects, the little boy was unable to resume (…)
