Emblematic figure of the show Don't forget the lyricsMagali Ripoll had the fear of her life at home. Thinking she was calm and ready to enjoy a cozy evening, the 45-year-old musician was surprised to discover a stranger in her home. On July 23, 2024, Nagui's sidekick recounted this bad experience to viewers. Antoine's sweetheart also said she was saved by her neighbor Jean who came to her rescue before a possible tragedy occurred.
Magali Ripoll scared: “She was really huge”
“Can I allow myself to send a little message of thanks to my neighbor whose name is Jean and who came to save my life not long ago?” she confided, a little embarrassed. Grateful, she explained: “I had a huge spider on the ceiling, I'm very afraid of spiders […] I was afraid it would fall on me, it was really huge so I was very scared. Jean came to save my life. He grabbed her, he threw her out the window and she flew, she didn't die. I learned afterwards that Jean was very, very afraid of spiders, that he didn't dare to tell me anything so thank you very much, he's brave“. A small gesture that means a lot for the artist who confessed to having a real phobia of spiders.
Magali Ripoll weaves her web in music
Since his success on the show Don't forget the words, the mother of Chloé, born in 2012, and Marius, born in 2018, now hosts a music column on Europe 1 and has released his album The love of lamentation.
“Sometimes funny, sometimes fragile, sometimes strong, sometimes touching, this album is the image of this disco ball that is Magali. Energetic and dancing rhythms sometimes take the light, to suddenly give way to the sweetness of a piece of melody and choral harmonies that she wanted precise, textured and arranged like a string quartets” indicates the official website of the singer and musician who can thus completely symbolize the expression “having a spider on the ceiling” (editor's note: having a wacky side).
