Surprise on France 3: disabled swimmer Théo Curin replaces Cyril Féraud at the presentation of “Slam”

A page is turning on France 3: after 16 years of good and loyal service, Cyril Féraud will leave the presentation of the game “Slam”, scheduled every day at 5:30 p.m., and will now host the midday show, “Everybody Wants take his place”.

To replace him on “Slam”, France Télévisions chose Théo Curin. The young man (he is 24 years old) is a four-limb amputee swimmer. He notably became famous at the end of 2021 by swimming across the icy waters of Lake Titicaca, in South America, over a total distance of 122 kilometers. The swimmer also participated in the Rio Paralympic Games in 2016.

“Take good care of the baby”

The swimmer will have his first experience as a host, but is already well known to French viewers. He is in fact one of the faces of “Échappées Belles” on France 5. Cyril Féraud did not fail to react to the appointment of his successor. On X, he wished her “all the happiness in the world at the helm of Slam” and also asked her to “take care of the baby”.

Le Parisien indicates that the first filming with Théo Curin has already started and that the broadcast of these new episodes should begin in September.
