Ja Morant crossed paths with LeBron James and the Lakers last night. In addition to the Grizzlies' victory, Ja and LBJ kept looking for each other throughout the game.
Certainly, last night could have been renamed the rivalry night. After the exchange of sweet words between Trae Young and Knicks fans, it was LeBron James and Ja Morant who exchanged small talk.
The story between the Grizzlie and the King is not new. Back in 2023 and more precisely to the Playoffs where the Lakers eliminated the Bears. A defeat not digested and even less forgotten by Ja Morant who is looking for a way to give back to the Los Angeles franchise.
Desires for revenge which took hold because Ja had a rather complicated 2023-24 season between suspension and injury.
Back at 100%, the leader was keen to show the aging Lakers who was boss. It all starts with a too small on Gabe Vincent who, for once, had not asked anyone for anything.

But a few minutes later, the King decided to avenge his teammate by posting Ja Morant and returning him Kevin Durant's favorite gesture, the first battle was won, not the war. The Pooh responded by bumping into him (literally) on the field before doing the same on social networks and in the locker room after the Grizz' 131 to 114 victory.
