From November 9 to December 29, the Warwick House of Culture is hosting a prestigious exhibition featuring bronze sculptures.
It is thanks to the essential collaboration and generosity of the Inverness Bronze Museum that this exhibition, entitled “From Inverness to Warwick…, bronze” is made possible. Indeed, the Inverness organization, which is not accessible to visitors at this time of year, has agreed to lend around thirty works for the exhibition organized by the Warwick Cultural Committee. These are installed in the three rooms of the former municipal station.
A representative of the group, Francine Rheault, explained that Warwick is fortunate to offer this exhibition which offers varied pieces highlighting different techniques and artists.
Among them, let us only name Gérard Bélanger, Charles Daudelin, Louis-Philippe Hébert or even Suzor-Coté…
Added to this are four paintings created by Constance Beaulieu which are inspired by the different techniques for creating the bronze works. Visitors, in addition to appreciating the sculptures, will be able to learn more about the different steps necessary (12 in total) before arriving at the results they see before their eyes.
“We are honored to present this exhibition of original works, so that instead of just one month, the exhibition will be accessible on Saturdays and Sundays (from noon to 4 p.m.) until December 29,” explains Francine Rheault.
The latter also did not fail to highlight the contribution of the City of Warwick staff who helped transport the heavy works which ended up at the Maison de la culture until the end of the year. She also wanted to thank Sabrina Raby from the Bronze Museum for her great collaboration which allows these sculptures to shine outside the walls of the museum institution.
