As planned, Kenny Omega appeared during the NJPW Power Struggle show this Monday, November 4, 2024. It was his first appearance since his operation and he teased a return to the ring after almost a year of absence due to diverticulitis .
In the NJPW ring, Kenny Omega took the microphone to address the fans. He notably revealed that he spoke with Hiroshi Tanahashi and they had certain ideas, such as facing young talents from NJPW if he made his return. The former AEW World Champion said he was feeling better and could probably return to wrestling “soon.”
Kenny Omega clarified that he is still part of AEW, but that he wants to return to NJPW. When talking about his return, he mentioned the date “January 5th”, hinting that he could participate in the NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty show.
