Gérard Pinson publishes his 5th work of poetry, which he will sign at the Maison de la presse on Saturday morning, November 9
A first trilogy was entitled “the noises”, broken down into noises of the world; sounds of freedom; sounds of my life and my nostalgia. The second series of three volumes is called “Amour Humor et Humeurs”. There are several parts: Women, I love you; And God created humor; Life, its sorrows, its emotions, its joys…; Prohibited to under 18s!
“I never would have imagined at the start publishing so many”
“I have always written more or less, without ever thinking of publishing, but when I opened a Facebook page to publish poems, friends invited me to publish. I'm at almost 400 poems and I seem to have said everything. But we always find something.”
Gérard Pinson wanted to play other games in this work, with a 2-page text on La Baïse, a fable in the style of La Fontaine: the potter and the finch. And even some naughty news.
“As I write, I become much more and demanding with myself. Framing myself with rules, using constraints, makes me more productive, and I like to look for rhyme, count my lines, and then I look for musicality . I read poetry in the evening with friends, we read our texts, and I was recruited by the women of Voix Pluralelles. My favorite themes are love, I used a lot of my own experience. And then I started doing humor, I also talk about fights, to defend the condition of women, minorities, for the defense of animals, these are all subjects that fascinate me. But in no way do I consider myself a poet, I have far too much admiration for poets. My favorites? Rimbaud above all! Verlaine, Paul Eluard, Aragon, all these poets of the 20th century.” Dedication on Saturday, November 9 from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Maison de la presse where the book is already on sale as well as at the Maison de la presse bookstore in Auch.
