After television, radio and cinema, Antoine de Caunes launched into the magazine press. CMI France (Elle, Marianne, Télé 7 Jours…) announced on Wednesday the launch of a new periodical called Old, with the participation of the former presenter of “Grand Journal” on Canal+. It will be a quarterly of 132 pages sold for 7.90 euros and printed in 100,000 copies, details the publisher’s press release, relayed by Puremedias.

Antoine de Caunes will more precisely occupy the role of editorial advisor within the editorial staff of this “sassy” magazine, under the leadership of Romain Joubert, editorial director.

“Antoine has been young longer than the others”

“The conviction of Old is that you have to accept saying “I am old” to exist and participate in society, adds the group owned by the Czech Daniel Kretinsky. Thirty years from now, there will be more old people than young people. In Old, we wish to reflect and challenge the public authorities so that the major questions which concern the elderly are not confiscated from them. »

The first issue will include an interview with Florence Foresti who will recount the moment when she understood that she was old, but also interventions from Thierry Marx, Laurent Chalumeau, Patrice Leconte, Denis Podalydès, Salomé Saqué, Camille Etienne and Olivia Gazale, for complete the cast.

“A press adventure in 2024 is truly an adventure. And we have the chance to do it with Antoine, who has been young longer than the others,” concludes Romain Jubert, editorial director of Old.
