Michel Drucker targeted by an investigation? A collaborator seriously injured on the filming location of Vivement Dimanche

What really happened at the legendary Studio Gabriel? For several weeks, according to Mediapart, the location where Michel Drucker is filming Vivement Dimanche has been closed. It was placed “under seal” by justice. Because a serious accident at work took place there on August 26. According to information from our colleagues, a stagehand used to the show did “a fall of more than 10 meters” and fell “in the pit”. Placed in a coma for several weeks, he was “still hospitalized” for serious injuries.

Proof of the violence of this accident, according to Mediapart? The firefighters filmed and broadcast “their intervention aimed at lifting the injured person, during a stretcher that they described as ‘perilous'”. Since mid-August, the Studio Gabriel set has been placed under seal. “In view of the shortcomings observed: failure to secure the pitwithout guardrails or barriers, absence of safety equipment such as a harness”, the prosecution made this decision.

Why the host could be directly targeted

On the day of this accident, according to Mediapart, “no protection was in place”. The machinist then took care of
“painting furniture” above the pit and fell when he wanted “dip your brush”. The victim was not restrained by anything, “neither barrier, nor guardrail, nor lifeline”. As the safety guarantees required by the Labor Code were not respected, the labor inspectorate asked to close these legendary studios.

The prosecution also decided to open an investigation entrusted to the labor inspectorate on one side and the police station of the 8th arrondissement of Paris on the other, again according to Mediapart. According to the investigative media, she could directly targeting Michel Drucker. Because the host of Télévisions is “the president of SGPM, the company which owns the studio and which was the victim’s employer” the day of his serious accident.

Michel Drucker: “I will only be 91 years old in ten years!”

At the moment, we do not know when the studios will be able to reopen their doors. But for that, it will be necessary that a
“compliance check is carried out by a specialized and accredited company, and that this visit is conclusive” according to Mediapart. In the meantime, it’s on another place that Michel Drucker records the unpublished Vivement Dimanche. Contacted by the investigative media, he did not respond to requests.

Having undergone several heart operations, Michel Drucker thought he would never be able to return to work. He even announced his retirement. “I was convinced that, physically, I would not return to the level. I thought that 2025 would be the end of the line. And in reality, not at all. We must not stop. Never. Look at the difficulty of Michel Sardou leavinghe confided to Le Parisien a few months ago. As long as the public is there and my bosses are happy with me, I will continue. I will only be 91 in ten years!”
