The star presenter of France Télévisions, who will be one of the figures of the Olympic Games on public service during the next Olympic Games, had a complicated weekend.

Roland-Garros, Tour de France then Olympic Games: the summer promises to be particularly busy for France Télévisions. But while waiting for the Parisian grand slam to kick off, the public service is on deck in Cannes for its eponymous festival. And for the occasion, Léa Salamé was on the Croisette, Saturday evening, for a broadcast of Quelle époque live with many film stars on the set, but not only that.

Fabio Quartararo, the former Moto GP world champion, was among the guests of the day. But a week after having had to take a break due to the broadcast of the Eurovision Grand Prix, which generated a real audience hit on France 2, Quelle époque was not a success.

An audience at half mast

According to the figures published by Médiamétrie, the show presented by Léa Salamé only attracted 974,000 viewers, for a market share. This is one of the worst audiences of the season since it is only the third time that Quelle époque has fallen below the million viewer mark. Two weeks ago, the show was watched by 1.29 million viewers.

The star presenter of France Télévisions can console herself by noting that her show was the leader in the second part of the evening since The Voice, the after party had to be content with 777,000 viewers with an audience share of 10.5%.
