Guy A. Lepage and Jean-Sébastien Girard, the new guest jester, perhaps pushed the note a little too much with their nod to Dany Turcotte on Sunday evening.
Remember that last week, the settling of scores between Dany and Guy A caused a lot of talk:

From the start of the show and even in the hours before it aired, many fans were excited about Girard joining as co-host.

However, as the evening progressed, things seemed to get out of hand. The guest jester took several opportunities to evoke Dany Turcotte’s remarks in a joking tone. “I hope to be part of your core group,” he said with a laugh. Guy A. Lepage seemed to appreciate this line at the time
Obviously, the two men repeated this joke several times, which annoyed many viewers. Several Internet users did not hesitate to express their dissatisfaction with this rather uncomfortable situation.

“Really ordinary to always throw points this evening at Dany. I sometimes find it uncomfortable.”
“I found him ordinary, not to say well cheap his opening comment. This guy didn’t trip me now, I hope for his sake that he won’t need a buoy one day because the only one he might have will be that of his dear mother. Dany, we miss you”
“Why go back to last week. You, Guy A, you can do anything without any emotion and your co-host, his little text was too much and stubborn.
“I love your show, but tonight I’m really disappointed… In our era where we encourage people to talk and get help and where there is zero tolerance for bullying, you really don’t give a good example this evening… I overestimated you, I was more expecting an apology to Danny… too bad ego outweighs empathy…”

“Really sad start to the show. Turcotte doesn’t deserve this.”
“And boy boy, I really rarely write comments…. But seriously?? Needed to look back on last week…. We’re talking about bullying everywhere, and saying comments about last week’s invite while laughing, etc. It’s coming to get me.”
“I find it low, it’s really cheap. If you’re not ready to hear what the guests have to say, don’t invite them, especially if it’s to make fun of them the following week.”
“It’s completely disrespectful to Dany all your derogatory comments you worked with him for several years, you could respect his emotions that he was finally able to express… I hope you apologize to him and in front of us… It’s the least I expect from you Guy…”
