The clip of “Temporary“, title from Eminem’s latest album “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce)”turns out to be much more than a simple promotional video. It is a real journey through time, retracing the relationship between the rapper and his daughter Hailie Jade. Heartwarming archival footage alternates with recent moments, including Hailie’s wedding to Evan McClintock last May.
And the highlight of this retrospective comes when Hailie gives her father a Detroit Lions jersey, the American football team dear to Eminem’s heart. On this jersey, a meaningful inscription: “grandpa“. The rapper, visibly moved, turns to the camera, mouth agape and eyes wide.
