It is a personal and humorous tribute that Philippe Caverivière wanted to make to the late Michel Blanc, who died suddenly on Thursday October 3.

“I owe my first career to Michel Blanc, since I am very easily influenced,” says the comedian. “It’s because of the movie The Bronzed that I wanted to go to Club Med“, continues Philippe Caverivière, showing at the same time a photo of himself on the beach.

The columnist of Quelle Époque does a sort of introspection by explaining that for “a film, a passion“. But “fortunately I didn’t see The Fallbecause I would have had a less coconut career”, he quips.

“To be honest, when I was at Club Med, I wanted to be Popeye, I wanted to be Thierry Lermite, I didn’t want to be Jean-Claude Dusse,” remembers the comedian, “but we all look like Jean-Claude Dusse in our faults, our failures, our rakes. This is why we will miss him terribly“, concludes Philippe Caverivière.
