Louis Garrel arrived along the way, Laetitia Casta’s husband had a good excuse

Before taking their place in the sublime Folies Bergères room, the invited personalities and potential winners went through the photocall, the time to immortalize their participation in the 35th night of Molières. Nominated in the Molière category of Actress in a Public Theater show for her performance in A particular day by Ettore Scola, directed by Lilo Baur, Laetitia Casta presented herself in front of the photographers dressed in a long silky champagne-colored nightie-effect dress. Her hair styled in a bun, the actress completed her outfit with long black gloves.

During the broadcast of the ceremony, France 2 viewers were able to discover that Laetitia Casta was joined by her husband, the actor and director Louis Garrel. Married since 2017 to the actress and model, the filmmaker was invited a little earlier in the evening to the set of C to you with Léa Seydoux for the promotion of the film The Second Act directed by Quentin Dupieux and which will open the 77th Cannes Film Festival on May 14. Once the France 5 show presented by Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine ended, Louis Garrel then took the direction of the Folies Bergères to support his other half (Laetitia Casta was accompanied by a young woman who seemed to be his daughter Sahteene) who did not unfortunately did not leave with a Molière.

Indeed, it was Vanessa Cailhol who won the Molière for actress in a public theater show for her performance in Zucchini by Paméla Ravassard and Garlan Le Martelot directed by Paméla Ravassard.

Alysson Paradis in love at Molières but not sacred

Laetitia Casta is unfortunately not the only actress to have left without Molière. Nominated in the Molière category of Actress in a supporting role for A tram named Desire by Tennessee Williams, directed by Pauline Susini, Alysson Paradis did not achieve recognition despite an impressive performance alongside Cristiana Reali at the Parisian Bouffes (until May 25). The actress, supported by her companion Guillaume Gouix, was beaten by Jeanne Arènes in The Mirror Effect by Léonore Confino, directed by Julien Boisselier. A tram named Desire nevertheless left with a Molière since Cristiana Reali won that of actress in a private theater show, to the great pride of her ex-husband Francis Huster who received an honorary Molière.

Among the other couples present, Nagui and his wife Mélanie Page starring in the play What doesn’t kill usPablo Mira who was accompanied by his wife Lisa Brunet and who did not win the Molière for humor awarded to Sophia Aram, or even Thierry Godard and his wife Sophie Guillemin.
