Her friend says: “She was, however, subscribed to sleeping pills. I’ve never seen anyone take so many sleeping pills and not be able to sleep. She distributed them generously at the end of meals.”. Addicted to this drug – classified in the hypnotic family according to Vidal – which facilitates sleepshe thus became the best friend of the local pharmacist “as soon as she moved somewhere.” “The pharmacies of France had to suffer a significant loss of income after his disappearance” joked Gabrielle Crawford.
Jane Birkin and cosmetic surgery

She dreaded people’s looks on her swollen face from the medication. Aside her children, Jane didn’t want to see many people”, concedes photographer Gabrielle Crawford. His wish was granted.
