Nicole Kidman’s cinematography is full of masterpieces, and this is notably thanks to her talent which no longer needs to be proven. During an exclusive interview with Closer, the Australian-American actress was keen to talk about her next film, titled Babygirl. Directed by Halina Reijn, the film places her in the role of a formidable businesswoman and mother who begins an affair with her intern who is much younger than her. A role full of sensuality who at times pushed her to her limits.

An exercise that the actress, who always looking to surpass yourselfhowever appreciated it, as she explained in an interview. “I think I’ve already proven that I’m not afraid to push certain limits. If I wanted to participate in this film, it is because I was very interested in the question of consent” she explains. A particularly serious theme that is close to her heart. “Talking about sexuality is sometimes very complicated in our society. It’s something that fascinates me. Today I need to play the roles of free and liberating women”.

Nicole Kidman: “I felt extremely exposed and scared”

But talking about these scenes still makes me nervous today… (laughs). Still, I am very proud of the result…” continues the actress.
