And in fact, the day when Émilien dethroned Mathias to become Maître de midi, he wore the same red t-shirt, on which we can read “Les 12 coups de midi” written soberly. remark which allowed Jean-Luc Reichmann to give him a first surprise, by revealing the t-shirt he was wearing under his shirt, a biker style top, bearing the image of the candidate and his entire family. “It’s magnificent! Excellent, but above all very strange“, reacts the History student, laughing. The presenter then offers him the same t-shirt, a gesture which moved the star of the day. And to make matters worse, his competitors of the day were also wearing exactly the same top , to pay homage to the Master of Masters.
A tailor-made song for Émilien
A little later, it was the turn of Zette, the voice-over of the program, to give him a gift by singing a little song written to measure. “When he answers, we fly to paradise, his kitty too“, she sang to the tune of “I’m going to Rio” by Claude François. “Emilian of midday, his knowledge often borders on excellence, no wonder he goes through the year to a giant thunder of applause.
