Luana Belmondo announced sad news this Thursday, September 26, the disappearance of her little dog Maxou. Paul also wanted to pay tribute to the memory of their faithful pet, which angered his ex.
Luana and Paul Belmondo experienced a highly publicized breakup. After 34 years of marriage, the couple announced their separation last June. It’s in the columns of the magazine Paris-Match that the chef chose to share her truth about their breakup. “I am in shock, in distress. I’m not angry, I’m just heartbroken.” she lamented. She had put forward her husband’s infidelities as the cause of their separation. “Paul went to Antigua, to this house (…) where only close friends, the family, were invited. Paul was supposed to be there alone (…) I received a phone call from two friends who were a little annoyed to tell me that they had come across him with a woman. ‘Blonde and French’they told me. I didn’t want to believe it. I tried to contact him. He just sent me a very harsh note on WhatsApp in return: ‘Let me go, leave me alone'” she said in the press.

Only the two of us know the love and the unique bonds that we were able to experience and share together… they will always be there.”she wrote in a publication, where she paid tribute to her four-legged companion. Paul Belmondo reacted to the death of the animal on his own account. “Goodbye little Max. You have gone to the dog paradise that you deserve so much”, he wrote for his part. But these words made his ex jump, who denounced them in his Instagram stories, visibly blaming him for his absence in recent months. “Too bad you weren’t there for him…he was so kind and so loyal”, she replied in a scathing message, where she reposted her publication.
Paul Belmondo refused to comment on his breakup with Luana
Paul Belmondo responded to Luana Belmondo’s accusations in the columns of Gala, preferring not to dwell on this story. “I think there are topics that should stay within the family. There is no need to justify yourself. The loved ones know what it is, it’s more than enough. The most important thing is my children, whom I want to preserve. I am keen to be responsible towards them and therefore towards their mother”, he defended himself.
