2Be3 (Filip Nikolic, Adel Kachermi, Frank Delay) at the center of the next season of “Culte” on Prime Video.
ENTERTAINMENT – Leave one day, Give, Always there for me… 2Be3’s songs have become… cult. This is precisely why Prime Video has decided to dedicate the 2nd season of the French boy band Worshipwhich will be, as announced during the platform’s new features conference held this Wednesday, an anthology series.
The filming of Cult – 2Be3 will begin in November. And we already know which actors will play the main roles of Filip Nikolic, Frank Delay and Adel Kachermi. Prime Video announced at this conference to which the HuffPost attended, that it would be Antoine Simony (Summer 85), Sailor Judas (Titanium) and Namory Bakayoko (The Substance).
Formed in 1996, 2Be3 quickly became a legendary group. Composed of Filip Nikolic, Frank Delay and Adel Kachermi, three childhood friends from Longjumeau in the Paris region, the group was the first French boy band, at a time when British and American groups were leading the album and single sales charts, such as Take That, the Bakstreet Boys, Worlds Apart, 3T and NSYNC.
2Be3’s first two albums were huge commercial successes. The third, recorded entirely in English, also sold very well in Asia. In 2001, 2Be3 announced that they were splitting up, each continuing their own path, including acting careers for Frank Delay and Filip Nikolic. The latter died of an overdose of sleeping pills in 2009.
In just a few weeks, viewers will discover the first season of the series, focusing on the genesis of the show. Loft Story and the very special destiny of its winner Loana. In the cast, viewers will find in particular Anaïde Rozam (LOL: who laughs, gets out!), Sami Outalbali (Sex Education), Cesar Domboy (Outlander) and Marie Colomb (Laetitia).
