As a reminder, from September 26 to 29, 2024, Pope Francis will be in Belgium for an apostolic visit. He will notably visit representatives of the KUL and UCLouvain to celebrate the 600th anniversary of the university, but also meet with the bishops. A mass will also be held at the King Baudouin stadium.
Drug controls strengthened
In the second part of the programme, it was an opportunity to discuss the strengthening of the rules in force for drug checks. Today, the police carry out checks in three stages: first with a checklist to verify the driver’s condition, a saliva test in case of doubt and finally, a blood test. From 1 October, a new series of indicators will be added to the checklist.
