Pékin Express: The epic of the maharajas returned to service this Saturday, September 21 on M6. At the end of a new race, an emblematic duo was eliminated. Without further ado, here is who it is.
Season 19 of Pékin Express: The epic of the maharadjas got off to a strong start. To the great delight of viewers, seven pairs answered the call for this All Stars edition in India. This is particularly the case for Briac and Fabrice, Claire and Christophe and Hoang and Quyen. Also determined to win the competition, Clément and Émeline, Nathalie and Angie, Axel and Jean-Claude as well as Rose-Marie and Cinzia may well surprise us. Unfortunately, last week, Hoang and Quyen had to say goodbye to their dream of revenge, becoming the first pair to leave the game after a grueling race.
Beijing Express: a colorful second stage
This Saturday, September 21, M6 broadcast the second episode of Pékin Express: The epic of the maharadjas. For this second stage in Alwâr, Stéphane Rotenberg met the 6 pairs still in the running, all ready to do battle. The tuk-tuk ordeal delights more than one! Launched into the race, Fabrice and Briac are the first to obtain the keys to the machine followed by the other candidates. The aim of the game is for one member of the pair, designated as the driver, to guide the other at the wheel in order to progress along a white line. Claire and Christophe finally manage to win and rush towards Stéphane Rotenberg who is waiting for them in Abhaneri.
To spice up the race, each Pékin Express pair receives a Polaroid to immortalize moments experienced in the company of the locals. And this, as soon as the beacons sound, thus giving way to sequences once again memorable. But the competition continues and the six pairs still in the running fight to join Stéphane as quickly as possible. Three teams manage to qualify for the immunity challenge the next day: Christophe and Claire, Rose-Marie and Cinzia as well as Clement and EmelineUnfortunately for them, Fabrice and Briac come in fourth place and see the possibility of winning the immunity challenge pass them by. “There is a level on this Pékin Express”Fabrice believes before finding somewhere to stay for the night.
A new final duel
Here we go for the fourth day of racing and the second immunity test. Once again, Claire and Christophe prove that they belong in Pékin Express and win the precious sesame. In fact, the duo qualifies directly for the next stage. But the candidates are not at the end of their surprises. And for good reason, for an hour, they have to hitchhike while singing when the beacon rings. Direction Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan, where Stéphane is waiting for them. Christophe and Claire give their all and end up winning the amulet. Nathalie and Angiethey experience more difficulties and come in last place. For this much-feared final duel, the old pair of unknowns designates Axel and Jean-ClaudeThe latter, who has also attacked certain candidates, does not hide his fed-up feeling.
Beijing Express 2024: which pair left the adventure?
Angie and Axel are the two candidates to face each other. Both obviously hope to stay in the Pékin Express competition. To do this, Stéphane Rotenberg gave them the mission of going to a school, learning the numbers from 1 to 10 and finding the right combination to open a chest in which the precious “Step 3” sign is located. After several failures, Axel succeeds in the mission and heads back towards the host, thus qualifying his partner for the third stage. Angie, however, was not quick enough and so, along with Nathalie, became the second duo to leave the adventure.. “It was an extraordinary opportunity to be able to come back a second time”says the fifty-year-old with a hint of bitterness. The only (and nice) consolation prize: Angie and Nathalie leave with their heads full of memories.
