As with all mothers, the arrival of a first child is a real life change and Laure Boulleau would agree. A former player for the French women’s football team and now a consultant for Canal+, the pretty 37-year-old blonde became a mother for the first time this year. Last February, the former footballer revealed the beautiful name of her daughter, who is called Clara and who brings her joy every day. “I was afraid of doing something wrong at home with my baby, she was so small, and I had never changed diapers before.”she recalls in an interview with Magicmaman.

An interview that accompanies the latest engagement made by the one who recently shared her enormous “Olympic blues” and her infallible technique to remedy it since she has become the face of the campaign Baby Annelaunched by magicmom and the French Red Cross. “I can’t can’t imagine anything happening to my babyI will not bear this suffering. By participating in this campaign, I knew that Domestic accidents were the leading cause of death among young childrenand I had a kind of realization”explains Laure Boulleau about this campaign to familiarize parents with first aid procedures, before continuing: “Training in first aid, learning sometimes very simple things, helps prevent and avoid tragedies. Every parent should have had this baby [elle parle du bébé mannequin qui sert à l’apprentissage de ces gestes, ndlr] at least once in their arms. (…) The vast majority of parents are not trained, not because they are lazy, but simply because they do not know that it exists. I am a little ashamed, but I did not know it either before having a child.”

Laure Boulleau talks about her new role as a mother

In this same interview, the woman who revealed photos of her baby and attracted the wrath of some subscribers also talks about what motherhood has revealed about her. “She allowed me to have more confidence in my femininity. I have been in a male environment since I was little and I have always been self-conscious about it. I thought that having this masculine side that I completely assume in my personality could make me a bad mother, or prevent me from having this natural fiber in me. I quickly understood that it was stupid.”explains Christina Milian’s best friend.

Having become one of the most famous French footballers, Laure Boulleau does not necessarily want the same fate for Clara. “I would like her to do sport, if she wants to, but I am not obsessed with it either. My partner, who is also a former athlete, and I know that physical activity brings balance and a lot of values.”she specifies to Magicmaman.
