From the first week of May, one gala in particular invites all the most select stars for a fashion evening and a red carpet of unequaled glamour: the Met Gala!
This event, which celebrates the Costume Institute of New York, located in the Metropolitan Museum of Art (the Met), is organized by Anna Wintour every year. It is she who takes care of the guest list, hand-picked from among the crème de la crème of Hollywood.
The theme of the Met Gala 2023
For 2023, the Met Gala will honor designer Karl Lagerfeld, who passed away in 2019 at the age of 85. Under the theme Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty, Vogue will highlight his past as creative director of Chanel in addition to his work at Chloé and her eponymous brand, Lagerfeld.
