For the past year, it has been studying possible ” ethical breaches “, after various complaints filed with the Kenyan courts, particularly regarding cases of sexual violence.

In 2012, in a hotel in Nanyuki, the body of Agnes Wanjiru was found. The last time she was seen, it was in the company of a British soldier. Despite a complaint filed in 2019, the case is not progressing.

Esther Njiko, his niece, asks for help from parliamentarians of the commission of Defense. « The British continue to pretend that the investigation is ongoing, and hide behind it. MPs must summon the Kenyan Directorate of Criminal Affairs. We know that the investigation has been done, but they are hiding it. The prosecutor’s office too. They still have not made an extradition request for the soldier. ” regrets Esther Njiko.
