Find out the real estate prices in Strasbourg as of September 1, 2024

Real estate prices are stagnating in Strasbourg. They have now reached 4,168 euros per m², according to the exclusive Bien’Ici barometer for BFM Immo.

Real estate in Strasbourg is stabilizing. Thus, the average price reached 4,168 euros per m² in September (prices displayed in advertisements before negotiations), according to figures from our partner Bien’Ici*. Over one month, prices are up 0.6% and, over one year, they are down 3.9%.

On the rental side, prices are stable. Thus, the average price of a rental comes to 20 euros. For a studio, it will be necessary to count on an average of 555 euros per month and for a 3-room apartment 920 euros.

The population of Strasbourg increased from 271,708 people in 2009 to 290,576 people in 2020, according to INSEE. While the non-active are the most numerous (63,307 “other people without professional activity” and 43,008 retirees), executives, intermediate professions and employees are also very present in Strasbourg with respectively 34,411 people, 34,053 people and 34,053 people. On the other hand, there are few farmers (54 people) and few craftsmen, traders, business leaders (5,970 people).

The number of main residences increased from 127,995 in 2009 to 139,598 in 2020. There was also an increase in secondary residences (2,648 in 2009 compared to 7,713 in 2020) and vacant housing (9,813 in 2009 compared to 12,911 in 2020).
