Discover the real estate prices in Reims as of September 1, 2024

In Reims, prices are falling. They now reach 2,981 euros per m², according to the exclusive Bien’Ici barometer for BFM Immo.

Real estate prices in Reims are falling and the average price has now reached 2,981 euros per m² in September (price displayed in advertisements before negotiation), according to figures from our partner Bien’Ici*. Over one month, prices have fallen by 1.4% and, over one year, they have decreased by 10.4%.

On the rental side, prices are also falling. Thus, the average price of a rental comes to 16.6 euros. For a studio, it will cost on average 450 euros per month and for a 3-room apartment 790 euros.

The population has decreased very slightly in Reims, according to INSEE figures. 180,842 people lived in Reims in 2009 compared to 180,318 in 2020. People without professional activity form the most represented socio-professional category with 25% of those aged 15 and over. It is followed by retirees (20.6%). In addition to farmers, the least represented socio-professional category in Reims is craftsmen, traders, business leaders (2.4% of the population aged 15 and over).

The number of primary residences is increasing. There were 88,198 in 2009 compared to 92,510 in 2020. The same goes for secondary residences, which increased from 1,092 in 2009 to 3,403 in 2020, and vacant housing (6,587 in 2009 compared to 10,082 in 2020).
