“I feel twice lucky: I won and I found the ticket before its expiration date,” said Sandra Turin who had obtained a ticket for the Lotto Max draw last August.
Before departing from the ticket that was found in a grocery bag, the winner took the time to check if it was worth something. With her gain, Ms. Turin plans to reimburse part of her mortgage.
Loto-Québec recalls that the claim period is one year from the date of drawing on the ticket.
