After the malfunction which affected the Lamballe sector at the start of the week, here is that of Dinan (Côtes-d'Armor), affected in turn by a major outage at the operator Orange. But whereas in Lamballe, it was due to “a drilling accident”, according to the operator, this time, it is indeed a network failure which is the cause.
Around fifty municipalities
No more mobile phones or internet, Orange subscribers in the Dinan sector and beyond experienced a major outage at 10:45 a.m. Thursday January 23.
Around fifty municipalities, both in Côtes-d'Armor and in Ille-et-Vilaine around Dinan were affected, including 40,000 Orange subscribers.
The operator wanted to be much more reassuring than at the start of the week in Lamballe (where the outage lasted more than 24 hours), with network restoration in the afternoon, the technicians having been hard at work since the morning to restore it.
And it was finally around 12:30 p.m. that subscribers were able to find their network.
The municipalities affected by the outage ranged from Bécherel to Beaussais, from Bonnemain to Caulnes, from Hédé to Plumaugat or even from Jugon to Matignon, from Pléboulle to Saint-Léger des Prés, etc.
