TCL. Lyon: “major disruption” in progress on the metro: what is happening?

UPDATED Friday January 17, 2025 at 10:44 a.m. : Metro A traffic gradually resumes in the morning after several hours of interruption between Charpennes and Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie, according to the TCL network.

Quack on metro line A of the TCL network this Friday, January 17, 2025 in the metropolis of Lyon. A “major disruption” has been underway since 6am this morning, just before rush hour due to an “incident”.

“Line A runs only from Charpennes Charles Hernu to Perrache. The stations from République Villeurbanne to Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie are no longer served,” announces TCL, which mentions a normal traffic resumption at 12 p.m. this Friday afternoon.

Relay buses set up

“We provide you with relay buses which serve the stations from Charpennes to Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie,” adds TCL.

“A technical incident prevents the line from circulating normally.”
