Lacapelle-Marival. Two leaders of Elan Marivalois rewarded

Friday January 10, a nice evening organized by the Lot district at the Chartreuse in Cahors brought together 18 managers, surrounded by their spouses and a manager from their club. It was the opportunity to present the medals of the football league, and the medals of the French Football Federation for the 2023-2024 season. Two Marivalois leaders were honored during this evening in the presence of Bernard Bats, president of the Lot football district, Guy Glaria, president of the Occitanie Football League, Jean-Pierre Jammes, vice-president president of the departmental council in charge of sports and Christophe Proença deputy for Lot.

Player then manager

Muriel Landes received the League bronze medal. Muriel was a player from her tender years until she was 28, so it was only natural that she took a break to raise her children. But the passion for football did not leave her and after following her son to football school, she took a management license at Elan Marivalois. Responsible for the entertainment commission within the club, it's an iron fist in a velvet glove that takes care of the entertainment. Not counting her time and helped by her faithful lieutenant, Sylvaine, she prepares post-match meals to the delight of the players. Whatever the weather, she is on the sidelines supporting the Marival teams; she is regularly delegated to the police.

Multitasking

Serge Cadiergues received the FFF vermeil medal. Since his youngest years, Serge has been immersed in football. He began his career as a player, coach, manager, then president of the Elan Marivalois club, actively participating in its development. He contributed to the merger of the various clubs in the canton to lead to the creation of Elan Marivalois, an important club in the north of the department. A multitasking character, he can make fries as well as DIY and manage the club. His investment is limitless and he remains very attached to his territory and the club's state of mind: a successful third half is just as important as victory and the watchword is conviviality. Congratulations to both of you on these well-deserved awards.
