Thailand’s cabinet has approved a bill to legalize gambling and casinos, aiming to boost tourism and investment, Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra said on Monday.
The law, which will be submitted to parliament for deliberation, is the latest step in the government’s efforts to legalize gambling, which would take place in large-scale entertainment complexes.
